What I'm LOVING This Week...
1) More buzz about Black Dynamite, the hilarious looking blaxploitation film. Pop candy (includes video clip) saw a screening of it this week and it opens Sept. 4th. Can't Wait!
2) I may be in the minority here, but I got really excited to see Julie and Julia after seeing the trailer.
3) Bea Arthur and Angela Lansbury sing "Bosom Buddies." Wonderful stuff. Thanks AXB for passing this around.
4) Sister Mary Scullion, a nun in Philly, is among 'Time 100' most influential.
5) How is Adam West dealing with these tough economic times??
6) Watch Nyle Let the beat build.....this video was all done in one take!!!!!!! You don't have to like hip hop to appreciate this shiznit. Oh yeah, he's just an NYU senior.
7) And finally, not to down play the scariness of Swine Flu, but click here to find out if you have it. At least the government hasn't gone into the vault and put some of these awful, but very funny PSA's about Swine flu from the 70's back on the air.
