"Life Is An Eskimo Pie, Let's Take A Bite"

I love Betty White. She's super funny and is a great example of why age is just a number. What make me love her even more is how excited she is to be hosting SNL with Jay-Z on May 8th. Her quote for an interview yesterday:

"I'm thrilled to meet him. I'm thrilled to hear he's going to be on the show because he's the hottest thing since sliced bread, but I certainly enjoy him. I hope we'll get along well."

I'm holding out hope that they pay tribute to one of my favorite SNL skits and recreate this gem -- Click HERE since the embedded link seem to be faulty.

Big shout out to Zlo who first introduced me to this back on Brew 5.

Happy Birthday Jigga!

In honor of the media mogul Jay-Z's 40th birthday, here's 2 of my favorite videos. I hope to accomplish 1/10 of this modern day Sinatra by the time I'm 40. For whatever reason I can't embed them, so click and enjoy:

The Blueprint 3

In honor of Jay-Z's "Blueprint 3," here's an awesome video put together by Rhapsody that shows Mr. Carter creating each one of his previous album covers. You don't even have to know the albums to appreciate the video -- although some knowledge does make it more enjoyable.

And go get the album -- it's wonderful. Right now, my favorite is "Off That ft. Drake" but that changes about every hour :) I love him going after Bill O'Rielly and Rush Limbaugh.
