I usually don't care too much about these types of extortion stories, but the trouble that Rick Pitino
has found himself in is fascinating. It's not unusual for a high profile sports figure to be accused of rape, but I do think it's strange that back in 2003 -- when the alleged incident went down (no pun intended) -- Pitino met with the woman in question, Karen Kunigan, at the home of the Louisville strength coach, Tim Sypher, to talk about how to deal with the fact that she was now pregnant by Pitino. Then, 6 months later, Karen and Tim got married leading to lots of encounters with Pitino at team events. WTF?!?!?! Oh and guess who just recently followed for divorce? Wait for it --- good ole Karen and Tim. To top it all off, Pitino is Catholic so I'm sure the fact he paid for Karen's abortion isn't sitting well with the spiritual advisor he brings to most games. This story should be a warning to all men to keep it in their pants -- and is just me or does Karen kinda resemble Glenn Close in Fatal Attraction?
